Packet Pick-Up

For those who are in the metro-Phoenix area, we will have a
packet pick-up on the Thursday, May 24th at the Road
Runner Sports retail store (480.968.2022  43 S.
McClintock Drive Tempe, AZ 85281) from 4pm to 7pm.
All other racers will have the opportunity to check in and pick
up their packet on Friday evening at Freeman Park (420
Papermill Road | Taylor, AZ) from 4pm-7pm.  You can also
check in and pick up your packet on race morning.  

Race Day Schedule

5 - 6 am       Check in @ Freeman Park - Buses will
                               transport runners to the starting line(s). Last
                               bus pulls out at 6 sharp - don't miss it!

6:40 am       Pre-race meetings will take place @ the
                                  starting lines of both races.

7:00 am       Start of the 1/2 marathon and 5 mile races

10:00 am     Lag wagon hits the road to pick up
                                  stragglers. Finish times posted.  Awards
                                  Ceremony shortly thereafter.

Looking for a Hotel?

Comfort Inn in Snowflake located @ 2055 S. Main St. has offered 20% off to all race participants.  Just mention the trapper days 1/2 marathon and 5 mile.

Awards

There will be finishers medals and tech-tees for all participants and.   1-3 place medals will also be awarded to the top overall male and female placers in both the 1/2 marathon and 5 mile races.


Timing

Your times will be captured as you cross the finish line and logged according to your bib number.  To make this as smooth as possible, please attach your number clearly to the front of your shirt.


Race Support

There will be 7 aid stations (that's right SEVEN!!) along the course stocked with water and Gatorade to keep you on your game.  Because we know support includes inspiration not just hydration you can expect something to make you smile every odd numbered mile.
There will also be a sag wagon and a drop wagon for anyone with a bag - or anyone who decides to bag it :)

USATF Sanctioned

The Trapper Days Heart Health 1/2 Marathon and 5 mile (like all WMES events) is a sanctioned event.  This means you can expect that every reasonable precaution will be met to ensure your experience will be as safe and fun as possible on race day.So come on out and join us for an experience you won't soon forget!
